design
philosophy
Every
client is an individual, with their own set of ideas, wishes, wants,
dreams and concepts. It is important that every building we design,
reflects who they were done for. Each project is for an individual
client or group. As all clients are different, so too will the buildings
be.
It is very important that we establish good communication with the
clients so that we can get a feel for what they like, who they are,
and what their limits are. Our aim is to design a building that
satisfies the client, but which also stretches their boundaries
and perceptions to their limit, so that the spaces will feel comfortable
but always interesting. We aim to be the creative medium that considers
all of a clients parameters - to produce a building that, had they
been able, they would have designed themselves.
Each
finished building is very much the owner’s. We believe the
other essential ingredients are: good planning, cost management,
form that follows function for liveability, workability and comfort.
The design tools we employ help us achieve these goals.
